The back-of-napkin math

Keying one PO into Prophet 21 takes about 20 minutes and costs $10–12 in CSR time. At 300 orders a month, that's$3,000–$3,600 in labor — against a $399 subscription. At 1,000 orders, manual entry burns$10,000–$12,000 a month and roughly one and a half full-time employees, against $799. The subscription typically pays for itself in the first two or three days of the month; the rest is margin and redeployed CSR time.

Pricing questions

Is there an implementation or setup fee?

No. Onboarding is self-serve and takes under a week: connect Prophet 21, we import your item master automatically, and you forward POs to your dedicated address. No consultants, no statement of work, no setup invoice.

What happens if I go over my monthly order volume?

Overage is billed per order at $0.50–$1.00 depending on your tier — you're never cut off mid-month. If you're consistently over, upgrading tiers is usually cheaper.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — the shadow-mode pilot. We process your real inbound POs and show you the drafted orders next to the source documents, without writing anything to Prophet 21. You judge the accuracy on your own orders before paying.

Do I need an annual contract?

No. Plans are month-to-month and you can cancel anytime. We earn the renewal by saving your order desk hours every day, not by locking you in.

Do I need anything from Epicor?

Your Prophet 21 instance needs REST API access, which Epicor licenses separately — many sites already have it. Your team provisions the API user, so you control access. If your site doesn't have the API entitlement, we support a batch-import fallback while you sort licensing with Epicor.
